Digital test platform for the vehicle and supplier industry "DigiPrüf"

The aim of the project is the development of a virtual testing platform that enables vehicle manufacturers and their suppliers to test their products (e.g. engines, transmissions, batteries, drive trains) virtually and to optimize the testing and production processes.
Manufacturers of test benches and test bench components should be supported in networking their products via an IoT connector that is to be developed and mapped as a virtual simulation model on the basis of a generic model that is to be developed.

The aim of the ADZ NAGANO sub-project is the research and development of digital twins of the test bench sensors and their availability via the platform to be developed for the presentation of the intended use case.
Furthermore, services or microservices based on this (prognostics and health management (PHM) systems, etc.) are being developed, which are intended to give users the opportunity to have the status of the actually existing sensors automatically monitored and to be informed in advance about the necessary ones maintenance to be informed.

On the one hand, it enables test bench manufacturers to digitally map their product relatively easily and with little in-house development effort, and at the same time their suppliers are encouraged to digitize their products and provide their customers with a digital twin.
The sub-project will thus make a decisive contribution to further advancing digitization in the area of component manufacturers and the supplier industry.
